Alchemy of Commons (2022-ongoing) is a research project using gamification to inquire about the future of art economy and collective practices; it is an innovative archiving method for socially engaged art, as well as a growing set of toolkits offering constructive guidance for intentional communities and non-profit organisations. Yin Aiwen, the core developer of the project, is an artist, designer, researcher, educator and occasional institutional strategist based in London and Rotterdam. She advocates relationship-focused design as a strategy to redesign, re-engineer and reimagine the relationship between technology and society.
