Other indias is an anti-brahmanical, anti-patriarchal and anti-capitalist collective for movements, experiences and voices that are generous to the cause of active liberation in/of the Indian subcontinent*, its human and more-than-human lives. InSAF India (International Solidarity for Academic Freedom in India) is a collective of diasporic Indians based in different parts of the world. Our work centres academic freedom as inextricably linked to social justice, and knowledge production as bound to the fostering of our social selves.
