Hi! I'm buggy (he/they), and I've spent a few weeks over the summer and winter at the French-English border volunteering with a number of different organisations supporting people on the move (also known as asylum seekers or refugees) with emergency humanitarian aid and services. When I'm back in the Netherlands, I think about how to continue supporting people who continue to exist there under the harshest conditions and daily state violence, fighting for an opportunity of a better future, and one of the things I think I can do is tell others about the realities at this border. I also organize with climate justice and palestine solidarity movements.
