Peter Storm presents resistance stories and songs out of Britain’s riotous past. We will encounter all kinds of mischief-makers fighting against the forces of oppression and exploitation.
Stories of resistance against power and exploitation on all kinds of forms deserve to be told over and over again. In this presentation, you will hear a collection of resistance stories out of the past of what now is called Great Britain, very much a Divided Kingdom. The stories will be combined with songs about the events that will be narrated. We will meet angry peasants, workers on strike, squatters and other mischief-makers, in their fight against the hangmen, landlords and bosses, kings and cops and other obstacles to freedom.
Both the performing of the songs and the telling of the stories will be done by Peter Storm (he/him), anarchist, musician, writer and story-teller. His writings and contact information can be found at https://peterstormt.nl
