Dinner prepared by de Sering + Live music by Almudena Rubio (withj Isabelle Laudenbach on guitar) - from 19:30
Saturday evening there will be delicious food served by De Sering (minimal €2,50, suggested €5+) and then Almudena Rubio (@almudenarubioperez) will sing songs of resistance for us together with Isabelle Laudenbach on guitar.
De Sering aims to create public space. Space that is available free of charge, or as cheaply as possible, for the ideas and initiatives of the community. We are home to the People's Kitchen, experimental restaurant TestTafel, coffee pop-up Subcult, and loads of events organised by our guests. The beating heart of De Sering is the People's Kitchen. Here De Sering serve's two courses for a donation between 2.50 and 5 and cook on a large scale (think of thousands of meals) for activists and any other organisations in need of affordable food.
Almudena Rubio is an Amsterdam based singer, she has been based in the city for quite some time. She comes from a neighborhood in the south of Madrid, but it’s when she arrived to this city that she start singing. In her concerts popular music is melted together with songs of resistance.
