Border struggle and solidarity at the French-English border

An infotalk about the border struggle along the French-English border (Calais, Dunkirk, etc.). Some topics I will cover include: what the situation is for people on the move (also known as asylum seekers or refugees) there, where they are fleeing from, the conditions and violence they are subject to at this border, how they are forced to make unsafe journeys across dangerous waters to reach safety, the political and policy responses and their consequences, the joy and humanity of people on the move, what solidarity with people on the move at this border looks like, how you can be involved and what you can do, including how you can go and volunteer there, and briefly about the broader context of European border struggles and the no border movement.
