Potpuri started in October 2021, as a joint project between Termokiss Community Center Prishtina (NGO Rritu) and Zurich University of the Arts, with the intention to provide a platform (online and physical) that is accessible and addresses various ages and groups and their immediate urgencies. With some of these common urgencies being: (1) the breaking of the elitarian approach to meaning, knowledge, and cultural production in Kosovo; (2) the formalization of everyday topics which burden us commonly but we don’t share platforms where we feel heard; (3) the breaking of the approach of our formal educational system which limits the need to learn and experiment; (4) the appreciation and the need to reflect the nostalgia for the qualitative production of newspapers which we can’t encounter anymore in Kosovo.
