Dominique has been involved with the German climate justice movement for a couple of years, especially with grassroots climate justice groups, but also national climate justice alliances such as Ende Gelände or Sand im Getriebe. At the same time, she has been a queerfeminist activist for a while, and she grew tired of discussing and organising around these two issues separately. In her research and activist work, she therefore strives to tackle climate justice from an intersectional perspective, keeping in mind the many power relations that are reproduced and often reinforced by the climate crisis. Her work is currently focusing on climate and gender just mobility, degrowth and care, and decolonising the German climate justice movement.
