The yearly 2.Dh5 festival returns to Ru Paré in Amsterdam for its nineteenth edition from March 1st and 2nd 2025.

2.Dh5 is an annual festival for the exchange of radical ideas, strategies, and practices by grassroots groups, collective projects, and direct action campaigns in the Netherlands and beyond.

Our world is changing, and not for the better. The global events over this past year have caused much grief, mourning, and rage. From genocide unfolding in front of our eyes, to climate emergencies and the creep of the far-right into the mainstream all over Europe and beyond. We need strong resistances now. How can we stay strong and steadfast in times of unrest and distress? 

We need community, support, and mutual aid as much as ever before. Let us bring together the threads of our hope, knowledge, and skills, to weave a resilient resistance against the powers that seek to dismantle our communities and repress our struggles.

Volunteers

The festival runs off of volunteer labour, a barebones budget, and an abiding communal desire for non-professional, autonomous and extra-institutional political space grounded in our local conditions and struggles. Find any affinity in these commitments?

Ideas & feedback

The 2.Dh5 crew doesn’t just appreciate the collective input and reaction – we also heavily rely upon and need it to inform our organisational priorities and programming decisions.

Sleeping space

There are (free) sleeping places at 2.Dh5 for Friday night, and Saturday night. Below, you can reserve sleeping places for yourself, or yourself and a group.

You’ll be sleeping on the floor in a warm space, so make sure to bring at least a mat and sleeping bag.
